Alva is a talented graphic designer and audiovisual creator, collaborating on numerous joint projects while also establishing a successful freelance career. In 2012, she assumed the role of creative director and lead art and video designer for Noviembre Nocturno. In this capacity, she shaped the distinctive style and imagery of Atlas Negro, laying the groundwork for the ongoing multimedia saga. Her artistic contributions can also be seen in the spin-off volume Códice Nocturno and the forthcoming Atlas Rojo
