Infernum Diaries (2) – Rising
August 11, 2022Welcome to the first development diary for Black Atlas: Infernum, where the Night Council Studio team will tell you the ins and outs and production secrets. Thus, we inaugurate another section on our website, forged by our wonderful Alva Aur and recently released to the world.
Wait a minute, what isBlack Atlas: Infernum? It’s our first video game! We’ve set out to provide players with a rich first-person narrative horror experience, building on the Black Atlas anthology. This transmedia project, unpublished in Spanish, was coordinated by Álvaro Aparicio, edited by Pulpture Ediciones and broadcast by the podcast Noviembre Nocturno (iVoox Audience Award 2021) . Night Council Studio emerges as a group of talents with the desire to expand the universe of Atlas Negro in new media after the great success on paper and audio (if we stick to sales, listening, comments from the audience and even opinions of hierarchs of the mansions underground).
Since its conception in 2020 we have come a long way, which now leads us towards the publication of a complete demo with an estimated duration of 3 to 4 hours, for the year 2023 (for now only on PC, through Steam). ). The project has had several iterations, seeking to create an enjoyable and unforgettable experience for all players who come close to our creature. Of course, while Black Atlas: Infernum will be enjoyable for all newcomers, we want to reward veterans of the Black Atlas anthology, itself part of Álvaro Aparicio’s ever-growing Radiata Saga
Black Atlas: Infernum achieved three nominations for the PlayStation Talents of the Year 2020. This program, from the Spanish branch of PlayStation, grants economic aid to encourage new and brave creators. Our concept trailer was also nominated for the 2021 Feelmotion Awards(Video Game Trailer Category). Currently, we have the support of a grant awarded under competition by the Community of Madrid, something that will help us a lot to make the universe of Atlas Negro: Infernum more immersive, detailed and terrifying.
And without further ado, see you in the next newspaper. Keep this frequency open…
